Akhmedzhanov Karimjon Bakidzhanovich was born in Tashkent in 1971, is an Uzbek by nationality. In 1994, he graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics with honors in the specialty "Accounting in Industry and Analysis of Economic Activities". In 2000, 08.00.08. He defended his candidate's thesis in the specialty "Accounting, Economic Analysis and Audit", and in 2016, he defended his doctoral thesis in the same specialty, has the academic title of professor. Under the supervision of K. Akhmedzhanov, the doctoral theses of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, Doctor of Economics (DSc) were successfully defended. He is the author of more than 100 educational, educational-methodological and scientific research works. Of these, 10 textbooks (co-authored), 3 monographs, 6 textbooks, etc. More than 20 articles and abstracts have been published in foreign scientific journals and conference proceedings. Participated as a project leader in innovative and practical grant projects announced by the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Is a member of the editorial board and expert council of electronic journals published internationally and at the republican level. K. Akhmedzhanov served as Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Tashkent State University of Economics from 2015 to 2023, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and International Relations of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vice-Rector for Education Quality and International Cooperation of the Tashkent International University of Chemistry, and as Rector of the Tashkent International University of Chemistry from 2023 to 2025.

Main goals and objectives: To provide strategic leadership in the scientific activities of the university in accordance with national state educational standards and international academic criteria; Systematic organization of the development and implementation of the University's strategy for scientific activity; development and submission of institutional policies and proposals aimed at strengthening research potential, innovative results and academic quality; coordination, control and evaluation of the scientific activities of departments and research units to ensure the effective implementation of the university's research program; approval of annual and medium-term scientific research plans of departments and monitoring their implementation and indicators; initiative and organization of scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, round tables and seminars at the international and republican levels; support and management of the publishing activities of scientific staff, including journals, monographs and indexed research results; development of international scientific cooperation, joint projects and academic cooperation with foreign higher education institutions in order to improve the content of education and train specialists at the level of international standards; ensuring continuous academic cooperation with national and international universities, facilitating the active participation of professors and teachers in scientific events, grant programs and mobility initiatives; monitoring the integration of research results into teaching and innovation, and strengthening the university's research-based education model.
